Open Day
The Open Day was a real success due to all our friends, family and visitors (oh and the weather) we had a bit of a scare in the morning as it was blowing a gale and raining, actually blew the marquee down. So we had to reposition the band and some of the food into the pub, everyone was very accomodating. But at about 12pm the sun came out and the people starteed arriving, didnt really get going till about half one. Me and Sophie ended up in the caravan for nearly the whole time making a lot of cups of tea... but when we stuck our heads out there was all sorts of fun going on, face painting, card making, games on the grass, music and a very jolly vibe. We couldnt of been happier with the turn out and made £110 for the Blackshaw Head playgroup fund, partly through the raffle and the wishing tree (sophies mum dressed as a wizard) All in all a great day. Getting ready for our Easter egg hunt on the 24th April at 12pm, watch this space for more information.

I would have loved have got to your open day unfortunately. Unfortunately we had to do a runner from New Delight the week before as I was taken ill. http://tinyurl.com/44ge8cg If you follow this link all will be explained. I hope to get up there soon with my tent.
